Actually a pretty terrible use of responsive design. The navigation breaks in chrome and firefox (and I suspect safari and IE) at lower resolutions. The layout is only partially fluid in between media queries and puts horizontal scroll bars on the page. Text jumps outside it's container and overlaps with each other at points. There are just too many things wrong with how it was put together and it looks like not enough planning went into how things would work in a fluid and responsive environment.
CHPTim I am seeing the top nav menu disappear also in FF and Chrome. It might not be a perfect responsive design.. but aside from the menu/nav breaking/disappearing, I really like the overall design and it does respond in other ways when browser is resized.
I LOVE the slowly shifting background images behind the foreground layers when you scroll to see what's below the fold.. Love the layers! I think great use of color design, for the subject matter. Very crisp and clean. I really love a lot of this site.
I only wish that it was more clear that there was more below the fold.. I almost missed all of it!
If you can fix the menu problem, personally, I love it.
